Geologists

Mark Mathisen has over 19 years of integrated geologic-seismic reservoir prediction, characterization and monitoring experience in many domestic and foreign basins. He helped develop reservoir modeling and interpretation methods for Mobil Research and Development, and has completed many such field projects that led to new discoveries and improved recovery from both clastic and carbonate reservoirs. He has published numerous papers on reservoir geology, seismic reservoir interpretation, crosswell seismic interpretation and recently authored Mobil's "Horizontal Well Geoscience Data\Interpretation Desktop Reference". He has a Ph.D. in Geology from Iowa State University.

Tina Tsui holds a Ph.D. degree in Geology/Geochemistry from Harvard University and has over 20 years experience in reservoir characterization/quality evaluation, oil migration history analysis, diagenetic modeling, and source rock evaluation. She has pioneered the application of fluid inclusion technology to petroleum exploration and is skilled in petrography, scanning electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction, and in the analysis of chemical, isotopic and thermal data.

Bob Richter has 39 years of extensive domestic onshore regional mapping experience with both majors and independents. He has also worked Gulf of Thailand basins. He has received both M.S. and B.S. degrees from the University of Oklahoma.

Steve Root: GLOBAL BIOSTRAT SERVICES

Global Biostratigraphic Services provides integrated biostratigraphic services for both domestic and international exploration and production programs. GBS has a highly experienced staff that provides cost-effective, high-quality, and timely studies for various biostratigraphic applications at the well, field or regional level.
